The Tudor Rose bar, restaurant and carvery extends a warm welcome amid a family-friendly atmosphere in surroundings of great character.
The carvery offers a selection of four meats and a wide selection of fresh vegetables while the restaurant provides an a la carte menu with a wide range of options from ham, egg and chips, mixed grill and fillet steak to the regularly changing specials board consisting of crispy belly pork, pan fried seabass and braised lamb shank.
Originally two cottages, the building dates from the 1750s and great care has been taken to preserve its warm, comfortable feel.
The pub’s hardwood floors, oak furniture and cream décor are complemented by chandeliers, paintings and drawings of the local area and an antique brewery clock in the conservatory.
Not been here for ages and I thought I would like to see if the food was as good as it was the last time we were here. Yes it was - very tasty and plentiful. Staff friendly and polite, lit candles on tables nice touch. Definitely be returning again, top marks Tudor Rose

We went to the Tudor Rose as a group of 7 and they were very accommodating and friendly. The restaurant and bar area is very cosy too. The portion sizes are incredibly generous and to be honest I could have had the mussel starter as a main course! Great value for money in a really sweet country pub. Very impressed.
